Each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. Maggie - Office Manager/Financial Coordinator

Hello, my name is Maggie. I have been managing dental teams for 20+ years. I love interacting and getting to know people on a personal level. I joined Justus Orthodontics in 2022. I love working with Dr. Justus, the Patients, and our wonderful team here.

Seeing the transformation of our patient's smile is so amazing. I manage the financial aspect of the office by submitting the dental claims, setting up contracts and payment plans. If you have any questions, I am happy to help. When I'm not working, I like to spend time with my family. I have five grown children and five amazing grandchildren ranging in age from 14 to two. I also love gardening, working out, acrylic painting and hiking in our beautiful state. I'm so happy you are here, please let me know how I can help with your treatment.

Karin - Orthodontic Assistant

Hi! My name is Karin. I am originally from Peru and I have been an orthodontic assistant for many years. I have lived in New Jersey, Miami and moved to Portland in 2006. It was truly my destiny to work at Justus Orthodontics. Dr. Justus had been invited to give a lecture in Peru at an orthodontic conference. She met my previous employer, a renowned orthodontist in Peru. It so happened, that Dr. Justus was in the process of opening her new practice and my previous boss told her about me! So the world is very small after all!

Working at Justus Orthodontics is fun and it is a great environment to work in. We have a number of bilingual patients with whom I get to speak my native tongue which is Spanish. My co-workers, who are also my friends, make going to work every day very enjoyable. I am married and have 2 little toddlers. I love spending time with my family and friends, and also enjoy cooking and dancing.

Giovana - Treatment Coordinator/Scheduling Coordinator

Hi! My name is Giovana and I’m the Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator! I’ve been in the dental world for about 4 years now. I guide patients through their treatment plans, ensuring clear communication, comfort, and support at every step. I chose dentistry because I love to see patients’ smiles transform into big, healthy, beautiful smiles and how much confidence they gain through the process.

Outside of work I love being home snuggling with my doggie; he’s a Doberman and his name is Nobu. I love taking him on walks and hikes. Love going to the gym and spending time with my besties.

Brook

Hi there! My name is Brook. I love working in orthodontics because I get to see not only our patients smile transform but also their confidence. I have been an Orthodontic assistant since 2007. I enjoy meeting new people and making their visit an enjoyable one. On the weekend you can find me at the parks with my 3yr old daughter

Lucy

Hi! My name is Lucy and I’m originally from Mexico City, where I earned my degree in Dentistry in 2019.
My mom is a prosthodontist, so I was raised surrounded by dentistry.

Orthodontics has always been my favorite area of dentistry, and after finishing dental school, I decided to specialize in it. Since 2022, I’ve been fully focused on orthodontics and truly enjoy helping patients feel confident about their smiles.

I moved to Portland in 2024 with my husband after he was transferred within his company. We saw it as a great opportunity for a new adventure, and I feel so lucky to have found Justus Orthodontics as my first job in the U.S. It’s an honor to work alongside Dr. Justus, an amazing woman I truly admire and to be part of such a talented and welcoming team.

Outside of work, I love nature, hiking, biking, and running, so Portland has turned out to be the perfect place for us!
